Why We Built This Site
Indiana gives the public broad access to many court records, but the right route depends on the record. LaGrange County has a unified County Clerk rather than split court clerks. The Clerk manages court information and court revenue, while LaGrange Circuit Court and LaGrange Superior Court handle local trial-court cases. Superior Court also serves as the county Traffic Court, Small Claims Court, and certified Drug Court. Records that look similar from the outside may sit in different places, especially when a request involves a court file, a sheriff record, a marriage-license copy, or a state database.
